AWESOME!! From your profile avatar I thought you worked at Avalanche but it says your from Toronto! But yeah.. Great artwork!!!

I just recently started digital painting this month without lineart and it's pretty hard. The artwork from avalanche softwares, and cg talk are really inspiring!

Thanks guys! Druie - every single Avalanche artist I've seen so far has inspired me. I can only imagine what it must be like to work there!

I was just looking at your website and I recognized some paintings that reminded me of this short crab/lobster animation someone showed me who I did some character designs for

Did you by any chance do any work for Matthew Rappard from Organic Synthesis? ^^;

Wow, small world. Matthew and I went to school together, and we collaborated on the Lobster Film. We got a small budget from Bravo, and made the film. I did all the artwork (including animation...eek), and he did compositing and other technical direction stuff. I don't really show it to people all that much because I don't consider myself much of an animator. I did study it for awhile, though.

In Argentina, my country, we say "Que groso!" when we see something like this. It's like "Realy cool!".
See you.

Hi there! I've been looking at your work and you have some pretty fine drawings around here.

I'm really interested in the rough pastels finish you give to your illustrations. That's nice.

By the way, you're invited to check my website! I am an illustrator from Chile, South America.

Keep on rockin'! bye!

Thanks again everyone! Sebastien, I'm absolutely honoured that you like to visit my blog, although I assure you, I'm not a master of anything. In fact, every time I pick up a paintbrush, I can hear Sargent rolling in his grave a little bit :) Maybe one day!
